Summer Animated for ages 7-12 and 13 and up
Explore the differences between Cartoons, Comics and Animation and learn how effectively incorporate humor and gags. Using their artwork students will experiment with storytelling and create a wide variety of fiction and non-fiction piece with a emphasis on character development, brainstorming, pacing and staging. Students will get an overview from sketching to basic Classical Drawing, and the principles of hands-on 3D modeling. In the end of this session, students are introduced to the basics of Adobe Photoshop programs and digital animation using Mac computers and iPads.
When: August 18- 22
Where: mem7iman Child Centre, Sechelt Indian Band Land
Time: Full Day 9:30 am-3:00 pm for Half Day 9:30 am- 12:00 pm
Priority first given to SIB member ( Cost covered by Sechelt First Nation )
Non SIB member, Cost: $ 176 full day, $ 88 half day
